On the 3rd of August 2014, the day of a Yazidis’ feast, ISIS killer attacked Shingal a city in northern Iraq. On that day a young Yazidi woman lost everything. Armed mobs entered Sikh neighbourhoods, killing Sikhs indiscriminately and destroying their shops and houses. They lynched Sikhs, burnt them alive, Sikh women were gang-raped.
